The conference welcomes paper submissions from all fields of economics, business, finance, politics, computer science, operations research, law, and history which are or may be relevant to mechanism or institution design in a broad sense, regardless of whether contributions are theoretical, empirical, experimental, or practical.
York is a beautiful historical city with a rich heritage and a wealth of attractions being one of the most popular tourist destinations in the UK. We would like to advise you to make a hotel reservation as soon as possible if you wish to attend the conference, in order to avoid a shortage of affordable accommodation.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal commitments, one of our keynote speakers, Matthew Jackson, will not be able to attend the conference. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We have secured very good deals from a number of hotels with direct booking links below (use them for the agreed special rates rather than the public ones online). Please feel free, of course, not to use these options but your own searches. However, in our experience, the special prices we negotiated are good; as organisers we have no vested interests and do not receive any benefit from the hotels other than your satisfaction. June is usually a nice and busy season here and York is a highly popular tourist city. So it is sensible to book your accommodation relatively early.
