Our 2022 conference was organized by Jingfeng Lu, at the Department of Economics of National University of Singapore. It took place between 11--15th July, 2022, in an open access online environment instead of the originally planned in-person meeting in Singapore due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The call for papers and the conference programme are both online. There were 246 scheduled talks including four keynote speeches.

The 2020 conference was organized by Paul Schweinzer, Department of Economics at Alpen-Adria-University of Klagenfurt/Celovec, Austria, and took place on Thursday-Saturday, 11th-13th June 2020, in a free, open access online environment instead of the originally planned physical meeting at Klagenfurt due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

2018 Conference on Mechanism and Institution Design.
The Society held its inaugural conference on Saturday-Sunday, 12th-13th May 2018. It was hosted by the Business School, Durham University, the third oldest and prestigious university in England. Durham is a beautiful small town with a magnificent Cathedral on the top of a hill, a world heritage site. 2017 Conference of the Society of Economic Design.
The tenth bi-annual Conference on Economic Design was held at the University of York, United Kingdom, on three full days June 14-16 (Wed--Fri), 2017. It was organised by the Economics Department of the University of York and the Centre for Mechanism and Institution Design.
